We recently met with this agent to potentially list our home but ultimately chose to work with someone else—and we’re very glad we did.Our home is a spacious, well-maintained 2,222 sq ft ranch-style property with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and rare oversized front and back yards. It features an extensively updated kitchen with open shelving, white cabinetry, and black granite countertops, all hardwood flooring, large laundry room, a large sunroom with skylights, large walk-in closet with skylights and beautiful outdoor touches like a built-in fire pit and generous decking. It’s open, bright, and clearly cared for.Unfortunately, the agent arrived completely unprepared—she brought no comps whatsoever—not printed, not digital, nothing. Instead, she relied entirely on vague, personally subjective opinions that didn’t reflect any real understanding of our home features or the current market. While still in our home, she repeatedly implied it was a low-value property and even suggested we vacate entirely for it to sell—as if the space itself wasn’t worth showing. We have minimal furniture in the home and it's not cluttered. So the comments were entirely inappropriate, to suggest we have "too much stuff" or that it's beyond messy to sell while living in it.To add to the discomfort, she made dismissive remarks about our crated dogs—who were calmly contained and not roaming the home. Rather than simply acknowledging them, she treated their presence as a problem, which felt unnecessarily negative and unprofessional, as our dogs (An English Mastiff and French Bull Dog, Boxer Mix - are family to us - not a "problem" to dealt with. The next morning, we received a follow-up email where she doubled down on her low pricing opinion—claiming our home would likely sell in the high $500k to low $600k range-including her "comps" that she should have brought with her initially. Then, she abruptly added that she’d be in Greece for three weeks during our ideal timeline and wouldn’t be available therefore she's not the right fit for us - again mentioning with that statement a basic "good luck getting that house sold for less than $500k. It was back-handed - and again unprofessional. That excuse felt disingenuous. No experienced agent accepts a listing appointment without knowing their own travel schedule. It was clear her decision wasn’t based on a scheduling conflict—it was based on personal preferences and her discomfort that we didn’t accept her opinion as fact and that we were polite, but told her the day of our meeting we were not interested in working further with her. Rather than owning that, she repositioned the outcome to sound like a professional courtesy. In contrast, the agent we chose came fully prepared with relevant comps, a confident pricing strategy in the $700k range, and the respect and strategy we expect from a seasoned professional. Including taking the time to meet and greet our dogs telling us (they need to know me, I'll be here often). Sellers deserve more than bias, unpreparedness, and defensiveness. They deserve honesty, data, and respect. It's clear is not sure which side she is actively working for: She was more focused on serving the buyer - NOT US, the seller's - We would not recommend this agent.
Renee was great to work with and really helped us with a few issues with making our house acceptable to the buyers. She had to work with our HOA and our buyers needs and really came through for us. Thanks, Renee!
Renee is absolutely wonderful to work with. We worked with Renee and her team on the sale of our aunts house. Our aunt lived in the house for over 50 years, so this was a major life change for her. Renee made the entire process seamless and stress-free. She ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. Renee's experience and knowledge clearly shows through the professional, but also personal approach she takes and is fully invested in her clients. Renee suggested staging the home to showcase the homes character and charm, she took care of every detail during this process. Her attention to detail goes above and beyond and is likely the reason for multiple offers within the first weekend. We appreciate her time, dedication, honesty and transparency throughout the whole process. We highly recommend Renee and her team.Bill and Denise
Renee was friendly and positive about listing my home and had excellent advice about staging and innovative ideas about storing my excess furniture. She worked hard to present my home in the most attractive light and was able to secure a very quick full price sale for an amount higher than my expectations. Her help did not end with the sale and her quick responses reassured me every step of the sale completion process and moving into my new home. I would unhesitatingly recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home.
Where to start! We have nothing but great things to say about Renee as an agent and a person. We couldn't have been happier about working with her on the sale of our home. Prior to listing Renee performed a detailed comparison analysis combined with her deep local knowledge of the market to help pinpoint a strong price range for listing. During the preparation to list our family was out of the country on vacation. Renee went out of her way to help to monitor a renovation of our kitchen and coordinated several sub-contractors on our behalf to get the house ready. Renee's guidance on renovations to maximize the value of our home were very helpful. She brought the perspective of an investor to recommending what updates we should make. We took her advice and were able to achieve the sale price that we were targeting. During the listing process we had to navigate multiple offers along with several challenging scenarios. Renee's expertise shown through and she was able to help us (both emotionally and professionally!) achieve a wonderful outcome. We would highly recommend Renee and would look forward to working with her to buy or sell a home in the future!
